Discover Centre Court!

Centre Court is a small, established residential community on the northwest side of Greenwood County. Founded in 1991, it has roughly 130 home sites and is known for its quiet, neighborhood-oriented atmosphere rather than being a large master-planned subdivision.

One of the community’s defining characteristics is its setting. The neighborhood sits beyond a natural dam and is tucked behind two small lakes, giving it a more secluded feel while still being only minutes from Greenwood’s shopping, restaurants, schools, and other daily conveniences.

Centre Court appeals to residents who want a traditional suburban neighborhood with a mix of long-time homeowners and newer families. The community is governed by a homeowners’ association and maintains architectural standards and protective covenants intended to preserve property values and neighborhood appearance.

In practical terms, many Greenwood residents would describe Centre Court as a quiet, well-kept neighborhood near the Lakeview/Northside school areas, offering a balance of privacy and convenience. While much of the neighborhood is established, limited new construction has continued in recent years, making it one of the few older Greenwood communities that still has some new homes being added.
